Master of Physiotherapy is a two-year postgraduate course in the field of physiotherapy. - Musculoskeletal Sciences:
Musculoskeletal physiotherapy is a specialized branch of physical therapy that treats disorders affecting the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. It focuses on biomechanical and structural rehabilitation to alleviate pain and improve functional movement in daily activities, using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and patient education.
- Neurological Sciences:
MPT Neurological Sciences, also known as MPT Neurology, is a physiotherapy program focused on the specialized assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of individuals with disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
- Sports Sciences:
MPT Sports Sciences, equips physiotherapists with specialized knowledge to prevent, assess, and treat sports-related injuries to enhance athletic performance. The curriculum covers topics like biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports medicine, and therapeutic exercise, with hands-on training and a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Pediatrics:
pediatric physiotherapy is a specialized program focusing on the assessment, management, and rehabilitation of movement disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Cardio Vascular & Pulmonary Sciences
The MPT Cardio Vascular & Pulmonary Sciences is a specialised program focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of patients with heart and lung conditions.

Admission Requirements:
- Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (PT) or BPT degree from institutions where the mode of study is a full time program, with minimum 3½ years / 4 ½ years duration from this university or any other university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in Physiotherapy Colleges recognized by RGUHS – Karnataka are eligible.
- Candidates who have passed BPT through Bridge Course or through Lateral Entry after completing their Diploma in Physiotherapy from institutions where the mode of study is a full time program from this university or any other university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in Physiotherapy Colleges recognized by RGUHS – Karnataka are eligible.
- Candidates who have passed BPT through correspondence or Distance Education program are not eligible.
- No candidate shall be admitted for the postgraduate degree course unless the candidate has obtained and produced the eligibility certificate issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
Minimum Age:
A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.

The institution was established in the year 2020 and since the inception of the college I have been an integral part in its development and sustenance. Under the apt guidance of the management and the dedicated work of the faculties, HCIAHS has become one of the most sought out institutes because we believe in delivering quality medical education at under graduate level in the state. The college facilitates AHS courses, consisting of various departments such as Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Medical Imaging technology and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory technology. All our courses are recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
I would like to make a special mention that our college is the first in Karnataka to have started Bachelor of Occupational therapy course with affiliation of RGUHS.
